The Ciudad Universitaria neighborhood is located in the Moncloa-Aravaca district. Its name refers to the presence of various university facilities. It covers an area of 1425.09 hectares and has a population of 16,053 inhabitants. Most of the faculties and higher schools of the Complutense University of Madrid and the Polytechnic University of Madrid are located there, as well as more than thirty university residences and facilities of the National University of Distance Education. Among the EMT lines, the F, G, U, 46, 82, 83, 132, and 133 are of special importance for serving the university campus (especially G and U).
