The small village of Ariany is situated on a small hill in the Pla de Mallorca, in the centre-east of Mallorca. It has approximately 900 inhabitants and stands out for its isolation and discretion. It is a municipality dedicated to livestock farming and agriculture, especially the cultivation of cereals, which is why we can still find flour mills, which were formerly used to grind cereals and produce flour for bread. Its main monument is the parish church of the Virgen de Atocha. It is less than 30 minutes from the nearest beaches, about 40 minutes from the airport and just under an hour from the centre of Palma.
