Marsala is one of the most fascinating cities in western Sicily, a place where history, culture, the sea, traditions, food and wine come together in an authentic and evocative atmosphere.

Marsala is also linked to a fundamental chapter in Italian history: in 1860, Giuseppe Garibaldi landed here with the Thousand, beginning the expedition that would contribute to the unification of Italy.
