Boadilla del Monte is located in the western part of Madrid and has boundaries with Majadahonda on the Northe. It is a part of the Metropolitan area of Madrid, located 15 kilometers from the capital. With a population of 18,450 and 47.2 square meters, it borders the municipalities of Majadahonda-Pozuelo de Alarcón, Alcorcón-Villaviciosa de Odón and Villanueva de la Cañada. It belongs entirely to the Guadarrama River basin. This municipality experienced a strong population increase in the mid-seventies with the establishment in residential areas of a large number of single-family residences. In the coming years it experiences a new population increase as a result of the liberalization of large areas of land that are already being urbanized. The main interest point, apart from the old town, are the luxury developments of Montepríncipe, Olivier de Mirabal, Park Boadilla, Bonanza and Las Lomas, known as historical developments. This is great location, with good access to the M-50 and the town of Boadilla. Close by there are also Monte de las Encinas, Pino Centinela, Valdecabañas and Valdepastores developments.
