The municipality of Náquera is located in the north-east of the province of Valencia. It covers an area of 3870 ha, of which 1020 ha - 26 % - form part of the Sierra Calderona natural park. The town centre is situated on a hill in the foothills of the sierra, at an altitude of 215 m and 24 km from the Valencian capital. The municipality of Náquera borders the municipalities of Albalat de Taronchers, Bétera, Moncada, Museros, El Puig, Rafelbuñol, Sagunto, Segart and Serra. This locality can be reached from Valencia via the CV-35 and then taking the CV-310, and can be accessed via the AP 7 (Masalfasar exit), the by-pass, the Moncada road or the Ademuz track, and from the north it can be accessed via Serra, from Torres Torres. Its climate is Mediterranean, with mild temperatures due to its low altitude and proximity to the coast, with an annual average of 24 degrees Celsius.
