Segorbe is the capital of the Alto Palancia region, in the south of Castellón. Here tradition, history, natural landscapes and gastronomy come together. The town is located in a strategic enclave with excellent accessibility by the Mudéjar motorway and railway, 54 km from Valencia and Castellón and 37 km from the blue flag beaches of Puerto de Sagunto. It is worth highlighting the richness of the surrounding forest, located between the Sierra Calderona Natural Park and the Sierra de Espadá Natural Park, places full of hiking and cycling routes, as well as its proximity to the Regajo Reservoir in Navajas, where water sports can be practised. The service sector has taken over an economy that was traditionally agricultural and livestock farming.
