Subirats is the largest municipality in the Alt Penedès region. Viticulture is the main production of the territory that has a capital role in its landscape and the daily occurrence of its inhabitants. This winemaking tradition means that Subirats brings together the largest number of hectares of vineyards of any municipality in the Penedès, located in the heart of this region that produces wines and cavas par excellence.
