Castropol : Lage und Umgebung dieser Immobilie

Castropol is one of the most charming fishing villages in Asturias on the border with Galicia, surrounded by the Eo estuary, with white-painted houses and large palaces. Just 50 meters from the property we find the beautiful "Vicente Loriente" park, led by the eclectic Casino-Teatro, also the work of the same architect of the property, Miguel de La Guardia, with its bandstand, the monument to the navigator Fernando Villamil and the old medieval chapel Santa María del Campo. Castropol is a quiet town with all kinds of basic services for day-to-day life and hospitality where you can enjoy the charms of the Eo estuary and the delicious oysters that are grown there. From the top of the Mirandilla, fronted by the church, it offers spectacular views of the sunset and of the Latin sail boats sailing along the Eo Estuary. The estuary is very suitable for practicing water sports due to its calm waters and its small charming beaches. The town offers a pedestrian path around the coast, ideal for cycling, walking and bird watching. Among its most significant places, the nearby Penarronda beach stands out for surfing with its fine sand, making it a very appealing corner where you can spend a relaxed afternoon with a good book. Other very interesting places just half an hour away are Los Oscos and, in Galicia, the famous ‘Playa de las Catedrales’ or the pretty fishing village of Rinlo. Castropol is located just 55 minutes from Asturias airport and less than an hour and a half from Oviedo.
