Tordera is a municipality that belongs to the province of Barcelona. It is located to the north of Maresme, although it is true that it borders Selva, a county in the province of Girona, a situation that leaves this town about 35 km from Girona and about 66 km from the Ciutat Comtal, Barcelona.
