Integrated in the Maresme region, it is located 58 kilometers from Barcelona. The municipality is crossed by the Maresme Motorway (C-32) and the old N-II road between pK 672 and 673, as well as by local roads that connect with Pineda and Malgrat de Mar. The relief of the municipality is characterized by the Maresme coastal strip located between Malgrat de Mar and Pineda and by the first elevations of the Montnegre Massif, which include the Serrat de la Crestada (250 meters) and the Serra de Miralles (340 meters). The most outstanding mountains are Turó de Can Jordà (206 meters), Turó de la Guàrdia (241 meters) and Turó Gros de Miralles (343 meters). The Santa Susanna stream flows through the village from the nearby mountains. The village rises 9 meters above sea level.
