Désirée Kotteck

I’m originally from Germany and chose Tenerife as my home 20 years ago. Over the course of my career, I’ve gained solid experience in the hospitality industry, where I specialized for many years in customer service and complaint management. This background shaped my professional approach: I learned to listen actively, stay calm in demanding situations, and always look for solutions focused on people’s well-being.

I speak German, Spanish, and English fluently, which allows me to communicate naturally in a multicultural environment and connect with people from different backgrounds. For more than 10 years now, I’ve been part of the Engel & Völkers Costa Adeje team, where I’m proud to be a license partner and serve as Back Office Manager.

In my role, I oversee internal office organization, marketing efforts, human resources processes, invoicing, accounting, and provide strategic and operational support to the sales team. I especially enjoy working in a dynamic environment where collaboration and excellence are part of the company’s DNA.

I consider myself organized, solution-oriented, and dedicated, with a positive mindset and a creative spirit. I’m motivated by driving the team’s success, supporting my colleagues in their development, and helping to deliver a professional, warm, and human service.
