Josepha Stemkens

Born in Holland, I left home at 21 to follow a passion for fashion that would take me around the world. My career began in Düsseldorf and Paris before I moved to Hong Kong in 1996, eventually settling between Los Angeles and New York City for two decades. As a "global nomad," I served as VP for international companies and later launched my own fashion brand. This exposure to diverse cultures taught me that fashion, interior design, and real estate are deeply connected—they are all expressions of how we choose to live. My transition into real estate began organically in LA, collaborating with project leaders and builders, but my heart was always in Ibiza. After visiting since my twenties, I moved here five years ago, fulfilling a dream to combine my international business experience with the island’s unique creative energy.

Today, my focus is on San Rafael, an area I know intimately from having lived there myself. It offers a rare balance of authenticity and convenience that is difficult to find elsewhere. Historically formed around its 18th-century whitewashed church, the village retains a charming character defined by a strong artisan pottery tradition.
