Just a stone's throw from the historic centre and the beautiful Plaza de España, strolling down a cobbled alleyway with eccentric steps, away from the hustle and bustle of tourism, you will find Casa Las Terrazas. This property has possibly the most attractive terraces (over 100m2) in Vejer, overlooking the palm trees in the square, the walls that once protected the town and the beautiful open countryside in the background. The house, in a traditional style reminiscent of Moorish style, has 4 en-suite bedrooms. The entrance door allows us to begin to dream and transport us to another era and pace of life. One breathes tranquility, seclusion and peace. The entrance is made of stone and from there you can see the luminous patio giving access on one side to a well ventilated kitchen and on the other side of the hallway a small office with natural light. From there you enter the large old stone patio bathed in natural light from a large skylight on the roof. The year 1891 is inscribed on it. The courtyard is made up of arches (some dating back to the 18th century) and around the dining room, close to an old, deep cistern, which functions as a wine cellar, a Moroccan-style living room resembling a cave carved out of the rock, a reading anteroom leading to the first en suite bedroom with a cave-shaped shower. The fireplace in the central courtyard and radiators ensure warmth in all the rooms during the wetter months. The house harmoniously integrates the past with all the elements of modern comfort. A staircase leads to a gallery which gives access to another living room and the second bedroom, also en suite. From there you reach the first outdoor terrace with barbecue corner and panoramic views and the third double bedroom with a beautiful and typical Andalusian balcony overlooking the cobblestone street. Going back towards the gallery, a few steps lead up to the very cosy second terrace with pergola, an ideal place to let your imagination take flight over a Moroccan tea or a refreshing drink. A few steps further up, we reach the third terrace where the third bedroom is also located. From the bed or the sun loungers you can see the green open countryside in the distance. If we continue our way upwards, we reach the fourth terrace with several sunbeds and an outdoor shower, a perfect solarium with beautiful and wide views of the old town or far away.
