Montornès del Vallès is a municipality in the province of Barcelona, located in the comarca of Vallès Oriental. It has a population of around 17,000 inhabitants and is strategically located about 25 kilometers from Barcelona and 8 kilometers from Granollers, the comarca capital. The municipal area extends through the lower valley of the Mogent River, very close to its confluence with the Congost River, and combines a dynamic industrial setting with a rich natural and archaeological heritage.
