Brión: Location and surroundings of this property

The location of the villa is very good, it is in Bastavales, and just hearing this name one is reminded of Rosalía de Castro, from one of her most famous poems, which is dedicated to the Bells of Bastavales, which belong to the Church of San Xulián - whose 18th century bell tower has one of the most famous bells in Galicia. It belongs to the town council of Brión, one of the most beautiful in Galicia. In this area is the famous Carballeira de Santa Minia, one of the most important points of the Town Hall, where the Sanctuary is located and where pilgrims go on pilgrimage to honour Santa Minia. This place has always been chosen by the locals as a meeting and party place. In this area is the Hotel Balneario de Compostela, one of the most important in the region, with a circuit of curative waters. It is an area where many of the population of Santiago have moved to live, looking for a more pleasant way of life. Santiago and Bastavales are 12 km away and the AG-56 motorway links the two points, as well as the Transportes de Galicia buses cover this route. The nearest airport is Lavacolla-Rosalía de Castro, in Santiago de Compostela.
