Torrevieja is a coastal town in the south of the province of Alicante in the area known as the Costa Blanca. It has a population of around 100.000 inhabitants and is located 41 km from Alicante in the north, 23 km from Elche in the northwest and 53 km from Murcia in the southeast. In other words, in the middle of 3 beautiful cities and two airports. Torrevieja has a protected Natural Park with two salt lagoons and 20 kms of coastline containing six large beaches and about 20 coves with a large number of cliffs. The climate is temperate continental, with mild winters and mild summers with temperatures ranging between 18 and 25 degrees most of the year.
