Its surroundings are considered a natural reserve of wild fauna and it is included in the Plan for Spaces of Natural Interest, due to the richness of its flora and fauna species.
It is well connected with the highway that leads to Tarragona, located just 12 km. A city that stands out for having a mild climate throughout the year and for its ancient history. The ancient Tárraco, founded by the Romans, a symbol of present-day Tarragona, was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000.
