Boqueixón: Location and surroundings of this property

The location of this large house is very good, the municipality of Boqueixón is 12 km from Santiago, it is on the so-called Silver Route to Santiago de Compostela, and very well connected with Santiago de Compostela. The municipality has everything you need to live in a house near Santiago, petrol stations, health centre, supermarkets, pharmacies etc. In the area there are places not to be missed, such as the Isla de Gres, a paradisiacal place formed by six islands of incredible scenic beauty. The Gres Islands are located between the parish of Gres (Vila de Cruces) and Ledesma (Boqueixón). They are islands formed in the Portodemouros reservoir and are nowadays very popular with visitors. Wine tourism is being developed in the area. Overlooking the Ulla Valley in the municipality of Boqueixón is the legendary Pico Sacro, the source of numerous legends and folk tales.
