Oil heatingPalafolls is a municipality and town in Spain, in the Maresme region, which borders the Selva, about seventy kilometers east of Barcelona, Catalonia. It is located between the municipalities of Blanes, Tordera and Malgrat de Mar. This recommended destination has several Mediterranean beaches less than four kilometers away. In the highest area of the town, on a hill called Turó de Castell, is its most emblematic monument, the Palafolls Castle. In addition, it is an excellent starting point for routes such as the Tordera or the Pineda de Mar Route. Its climate is temperate Mediterranean, with the average annual temperature being 15 degrees Celsius. In summer the average rises to 29 degrees, and in winter the average temperature is 4 degrees. Autumn and spring are the wettest seasons, and the average annual rainfall is 698 mm. The municipality is made up of the following parts: Town of Sant Genís de Palafolls (formed by Sant Genís and the Ciutat Jardí urbanization), Barrio Santa María, Barrio Sant Lluís, Mas Carbó, Mas Reixac and Les Ferreries (it is the part center where the church, town hall is located, schools...). At the top of a hill called turó del Castell, Palafolls castle is located, currently in ruins.
