    Vejer de la Frontera is a municipality in the Province of Cádiz.

    It was declared a historic site, received the national award for beautification, and is part of the network of the Most Beautiful Villages in Spain. Its Arab heritage is reflected in the vernacular architecture and urban planning of its neighbourhoods.

    It is just 8 km from the Atlantic coast and El Palmar Beach, one of the best beaches in the Province of Cádiz. The La Breña y Marismas del Barbate Nature Reserve is also part of this area.
