It is a restored farmhouse with a more or less rectangular layout, consisting of two attached buildings with tiled roofs on one and two sides, divided into a ground floor and a first floor. This property offers diverse possibilities in a private setting. A small semi-detached house at the eastern end of the main façade is covered by a ground-level terrace. On the ground floor, there is a porch surrounded by a large semi-circular arcade with stone frames. The south-facing main façade features a rectangular entrance portal with well-hewn stone posts and a massive flat lintel. At the western end of the façade, there is a semi-circular arch made of rough stone, integrated into one of the posts, providing access to the current garage of the house. The window openings are rectangular with stone frames and flat lintels, with some of them having molded sills. The remaining openings in the building are rectangular and equipped with stone frames, except for the three open windows on the west façade. The structure of the completely restored building consists of coarse stones of varying sizes irregularly arranged and bonded with mortar. History According to the Special Plan for the Identification and Regulation of Farmhouses and Country Houses by the Cabanelles municipal administration, Can Garriga is a building from the 19th century, although it has undergone expansions and renovations since 1987.
