Vejer de la Frontera is a municipality located in the province of Cádiz. Declared a Historic Site, awarded the National Beauty Award and forming a Network of the most beautiful Villages in Spain. The Arab influence is reflected in its popular architecture and in the urban planning of its neighborhoods. Vejer sits on a beautiful hill at an altitude of about 200m, the white houses reside on the mountain with the sea in the background, the aesthetics of this place is precious and offers a typical picture of a white Cadiz town with great monumental and scenic beauty . Located just 8 km from the Atlantic coast and El Palmar beach, one of the best beaches in the province of Cádiz with crystal clear water and golden sand, at sunset the sea turns silver while submerging with the Red sunset. Its enclave gives rise to a point of passage for migratory birds between Europe and Africa and the sighting of cetaceans in the ocean. The Breña y Las Marismas de Barbate Natural Park also belong to it.
