Lindos is located 48 km south of the city of Rhodes and 52 km from the International Airport.
Unique features: Lindos, like Rhodes Old Town, is one of the island’s “hot spots”! Bright, whitewashed houses elegantly embrace the foothills of the Acropolis, the second largest in Greece, and are surrounded by small coves with sparkling turquoise sea. It is a protected settlement, with no vehicles and no pollution, which enhances the charm of this picturesque traditional village. The Lindos area is divided into Lindos itself and the surrounding villages and resorts such as Vlycha Bay, Kalathos, Malona, Massari, Haraki, Pefkos, Lardos and Pilona.
Accessibility: Lindos and the surrounding villages are accessible by regular bus service or by car/taxi in about one hour. Boats can also anchor in the small bay of Lindos.
Investment prospects: Lindos is one of the most sought-after villages in the entire Mediterranean, and owning a home here is considered particularly prestigious. For this reason alone, prices are more stable than in other areas. Properties in the area are almost exclusively traditional homes and mansions with a rich history. The entire village is designated as protected, and every summer it becomes the island’s “hot spot.” The wider Lindos area is also protected, with strict building regulations, so it will never be overdeveloped, and it offers attractive locations with stunning sea views at very reasonable prices.
