Kameiros: Location and surroundings of this property

Location: A short distance from ancient Kamiros is the little village of Kalavarda soaked in tradition. Only 28km from Rhodes town and very near to Rhodes airport. Unique features: Kalavarda beach is peaceful with available sunbeds and umbrellas for shade and warm, clear water to swim in as it is sheltered. The village itself boasts some very fine tavernas as well as along the coast serving excellent seafood. This is a very traditional little Greek village, subsisting mostly agriculture and less reliant on tourism. Ancient Kamiros is very close as well as the Valley of the Butterflies. Accessibility: There is public transport from Rhodes town stopping at Kalavarda and neighbouring villages.
