Charming historic residence in Castiglione di Sicilia in the heart of the Sicilian countryside

This characteristic lava stone farmhouse is the emblem of late 19th-century Sicilian architecture. It’s in the countryside of Castiglione di Sicilia and surrounded by the vineyards of the most important wineries of northern Etna, between the Alcantara river and Mount Etna. The property is located near the characteristic hamlet of Verzella, in an isolated spot not far from the banks of the Alcantara river, which guarantees privacy, tranquillity and a spectacular view of Etna and the Nebrodi mountains. The farmhouse is on three levels and a recent renovation has brought to light the ancient peculiarities of the property, including the millstone with its typical stone floor and the beautiful vaulted roofs of the rooms on the ground floor.
