The municipality of Pino Torinese, named the 'village of stars,' is located exactly between the Montosolo hill and a hill called 'della Torre rotonda,' home of the astronomical observatory, on which a medieval castle once stood. At the center of the village stand the parish church of Madonna del Carmelo and the church of Sant'Andrea Corsini, symbols of the village, which dominate from the top of the hill. Pino Torinese is rich in buildings dating back to the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries: Villa Balbiana, the Commandery of San'Antonio, and numerous chapels, including the church of Poggio or Podio. On the hill of Bric Torre Rotonda, at 620 meters above sea level, there is the Astronomical Observatory of Turin. Many events are regularly held in the municipality of Pino Torinese. Among the most important, as they have a non-local character, are: Pino Classica - Classical Music Season and Pino Jazz Fest. The most important festival for the village is celebrated on February 4th and is dedicated to the patron saint of the village, Saint Andrea Corsini.
