Leontario is located near Lavriou Avenue, at the height of Glyka Nera. It borders the Ktima Kampa and Ktima Matsa. The center of the district is located in the pine-covered square where the city park is found, an area rich in pedestrian streets and elegant neighborhoods. On Lavriou Avenue, at the borders with the center of Glyka Nera, various shops are gradually developing along with dining areas. The settlement continues around the hill, at the top of which is the small square of Kallithea and a well-known College. North of the area develops the neighborhood of Agios Nikolaos, which harmoniously integrates into the district. The central park of the district is located within the residential fabric, around which extend elegant pedestrian streets, artistic additions with a strong water element, sports fields, and school spaces, while the Church of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary is clearly visible at the top of the hill. The area has a plethora of educational institutions. Specifically, the 3rd Pallini Primary School, 2nd Gymnasium, the "Erasmios Hellenic-German School," the "Bodosakeio Primary" of Athens College, and the "Latseio Primary" of Psychiko College operate in the area. A modern sports center of the Municipality has been erected in the area.
