We are in Basso Casentino, where this old water mill dating back to 1600 is located, completely and finely renovated in 2011, with luxury finishes. The property, made of stone, reflects the perfect Tuscan style, is spread over 3 levels and consists of a ground floor with a large living room that preserves the original stone wheels with the millstone lifting system, all in solid oak. Under the hall we find the cave where, in the past, the water powered the wooden blade for grinding grain, as the mill has an internal hydraulic mechanism; the cave, with ample outdoor space, can be used as a spa, next to a room that can be used as a wine cellar. Furnished with custom-made furniture, it is equipped with a gas stove with thermo-ventilated oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and additional wood-burning thermo-kitchen that can also be used for cooking and has a double-elevation oven. The upper floor houses a beautiful master bedroom with a custom-built walk-in closet, all in solid chestnut with handmade decorations. The access to it is through a study with a bookcase, custom-made, with a small oak loft. On the same floor are: hallway, utility room, single bedroom, large bathroom with travertine shower, travertine sink and custom-made solid chestnut closet with drawers. The house has excellent finishes with antique terracotta floors, solid oak parquet, restored original doors, Wi-Fi 4g, shatterproof doors, windows with wrought iron grilles. Internally we find most of the walls in original stone.
