Located at the foot of Puig de Randa, the municipality of Llucmajor is the largest municipality on the island. Llucmajor is a peaceful village, typical of the Mallorcan countryside, with narrow streets and a historic quarter with buildings of great character and modernist façades. The square in front of the town hall has been transformed into a pedestrian area, full of bars, restaurants and shops. On Fridays, the market crosses the town from the Town Hall in the Plaça d'Espanya to the Bisbe Taixequet street and from the Passeig Jaume III to the Ronda de Migjorn.
