The Almagro neighborhood is considered one of the most elegant in Madrid since its tree-lined streets are home to some of the most luxurious and stately homes in the city. Numerous palaces make up this elegant axis of the capital, such as that of the Marqués de Casa Riera where Queen Fabiola of Belgium was born and raised.
