Secular Rural House for Housing and Tourism

Dating back to 1749, the “Casa de Sequiade” combines the possibility of housing for a family in an unusual way. The main house can be used in an integrated way or using each floor autonomously - each one able to receive a family! Each floor has a lounge with a rustic kitchen and three bedrooms, with all bedrooms on the lower floor having their own bathroom and two bedrooms sharing one on the upper floor. Each division carries the taste accumulated over generations - in architecture, furniture and decoration! All rooms are air-conditioned. Water heating is ensured by a diesel boiler that also feeds the central heating radiators. Outside we find two main articulation spaces: The Eira and the Pool. Next to Eira, there is a group lounge, covered barbecue with associated traditional socializing area, Sequeiro refurbished into a complex for socializing, and support equipment (workshop, kitchen, outdoor toilets and storage). On the lower floor of the sequeiro we find a recreational space covered with table tennis, dining table and other games. On the upper floor we find the Games Room with a large and cozy living area, with a salamander and billiards! Around the pool there is a romantic lounge, a sun lounger area, a garden, an orchard with parking, a children's playground and a terrace with a viewpoint over the landscape. In the opposite building there are three independent studios, all with a direct connection to the pool area. They can work for tourism purposes in addition to the main house. The property is endowed with an endless series of small luxuries, comforts and improvements so that everything works in a simple but exemplary way.
