The Olivais parish, in terms of access, its greatest asset is its proximity to the Encarnação Metro station. In this quiet, serene and peaceful neighborhood, it is very common to see children playing in the Vale do Silêncio Park or elderly people talking by the market. In the 1960s, this area was part of a large-scale urban operation, integrated in the expansion strategies of the city of Lisbon, following the success of the Alvalade neighborhood. Here, we tried to design a neighborhood where the built buildings were connected by the green structure, with narrow streets, wide sidewalks, pedestrian connections and facades far from each other.
