Ampelas is a coastal settlement on the northeast coast of Paros island. It is a picturesque, typical seaside settlement which is located just 5 km away from Naoussa, the old port of Paros. The beach of Ampelas boasts emerald blue Aegean Sea waters and it is protected by the Cycladic etesian winds, known as "meltemia". The shore is suitable for families while tourism development of the district is in progress.
