Agios Georgios Square is another popular spot, surrounded by small cafés and meze taverns. Holding a prominent place in residents’ lives are Pedion tou Areos, one of Athens’ largest public parks, Mount Helikon Hill, which includes sports facilities, and Attiko Park in Ano Kypseli. In addition, the area has many small theaters and artists’ studios, giving it a bohemian feel.
