It is located 13 minutes (7.1 km) from Almada, 17 minutes (9.8 km) from Seixal, 29 minutes (35.2 km) from Setúbal, 23 minutes (16.6 km) from Lisbon, 15 minutes (9.5 km) from the beaches of Costa da Caparica, 31 minutes (25.6 km) from the beaches of Sesimbra, and 43 minutes (35.7 km) from the beaches of Setúbal. Access to the Corroios railway station, which connects Lisbon and Setúbal, is made by bus or car.
