Beautiful designer villa a few kilometres from Varenna

The design of this beautiful 1950s residence on Lake Como, a few kilometres from Varenna, combines the original character of the building with the addition of modern elements and designer interiors, signed by a well-known architect from Milan. The recent conservative renovation has harmoniously blended modern comforts and period elements, using only high-quality materials. The living area on the ground floor consists of a living space, the entrance hall leads directly to the spacious living room with fireplace and access to the terrace, the designer kitchen has access to the large berceau covered by a luxuriant Canadian vine, a bathroom with bathtub and the utility room complete the floor. The sleeping area on the first floor consists of two large double bedrooms with lake view, a bedroom with mountain and park view, two balconies, a large covered terrace and a complete bathroom with shower. The basement consists of a room used as a studio or bedroom, a bathroom, a laundry room, a boiler room and a large garage. The finishes are of great quality such as the flooring in which the original wood, oil-finished parquet, original cement tiles and a modern resin alternate. The lake context influences the colour palette chosen, which is a blue nature that recalls the lake's nuances and is juxtaposed with a deep burgundy that dialogues with some pre-existing details.
