This modern country house is quietly located on the edge of the municipality of Schwendt. This property owes its special appearance and living feeling to a thousand-year-old architectural theory, according to whose rules it was built. The house, built around 2013 using the half-timbered block system, has two floors. Through a spacious entrance area with a cloakroom and access to a separate room, which can be used as an office or guest room, you reach the light-flooded living area. Four massive wooden columns mark the center of the house.

On the ground floor there are two living areas of approx. 137 m², a guest bathroom, a bright dining area in a winter garden-like extension and the large open kitchen. Clearly visible from all sides, the fireplace radiates additional coziness.

You can reach the upper floor via the open staircase. All rooms are lined up around the gallery. There is currently a bedroom and a meditation room here, which can be used as another bedroom. There is also a dressing room, another office, a utility room and the large bathroom designed in warm colors on this floor. The outside balconies can be accessed from three sides. From here you can look south to the Kaisergebirge and to the north to the neighboring community of Kössen.

Walchsee / Kössen / Schwendt: Location and surroundings of this property

Schwendt is located in the beautiful Kaiserwinkl in Tyrol at the foothills of the Wilder Kaiser at approx. 700 m above sea level.

The beautiful landscape is characterized by mountains, lakes, valleys and everything that makes life in Tyrol beautiful and exciting in every season. In winter and summer you will find a wide range of activities.

In summer, the beautiful landscape can be explored on foot on long hikes or by bike on the extensive network of routes. Swimming, surfing or sailing at the nearby Walchsee offer variety in the leisure and relaxation program.

Golfing, rafting and hang gliding expand the leisure activities on offer. The Kaiserwinkl trails have been awarded the “Tyrolean cross-country ski trails quality seal”. Well-prepared ski slopes make winter sports in Kaiserwinkl a wintry pleasure. The Bavarian Reit im Winkl can be reached in about 15 minutes and Kitzbühel in about 30 minutes by car.

The international airports of Munich and Innsbruck can each be reached in around 1.5 hours, Salzburg in around 1 hour.
