Ramsau in the Zillertal is located in the district of Schwaz in Tyrol and lies in the heart of the Alps surrounded by 55 breathtaking three-thousand-meter peaks. The municipality belongs to one of the 25 Zillertal municipalities and is only about 5 minutes by car away from Mayrhofen, which is quite famous for its ski resorts. The Mayrhofner Bergbahnen are among the largest ski areas in Tyrol.
In the summer months, the Zillertal valley is a paradise for hiking, climbing, and mountain biking.
Within walking distance of the property are a MPreis, ADEG, BIPA, NKD, and a Lagerhaus DIY and garden center. The medical center is also located in this area, which houses a general practitioner as well as various specialists such as a dentist, orthopaedist, ENT specialist, and others.
There are also excellent public transport connections to the neighboring communities - it only takes about 15 minutes by public transport to get to Mayrhofen or about 20 minutes to the Zillertal Arena, the largest skiing area in the Zillertal. Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol, is about 60 minutes away from Ramsau im Zillertal by car.

The hotel service of the Posthotel can also be used. Food and drink reservation and use of the SPA area for a fee. Ski pass booking, ski school, and ski hire can all be conveniently arranged in the hotel. The entrance to the skiing area is only a few minutes walk away.
