Arlberg! Immediately you have before you paradisiacal snow conditions, glittering powder snow, the incredible expanse of one of the most beautiful, extensive and famous ski areas in the world! The Arlberg is known as the cradle of alpine skiing, as the first ski club in the Alps was founded here and Austria's first cable car intended purely for winter sports was built! The Arlberg ski area, with 88 ski lifts, 305 km of perfectly groomed slopes and 200 km of deep snow runs, is now the largest contiguous ski area in Austria and the fifth largest in the world.
But the region in and around Pettneu doesn't just offer this diversity in winter, countless wonderful cycling and mountain tours also invite you to enjoy enjoyable experiences in summer that you can not only dream about all year round, but also live and enjoy every day!
