The free licence area of Interlaken is located in the Bernese Oberland at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. As well as scattered communities located on Lake Thun, the area includes all towns around Lake Brienz and Meiringen-Hasliberg, which is well-known for its wintersports, Grindelwald, and especially Wengen with its Lauberhorn slope. All these communities form an overall revenue potential of more than CHF 1.5 million.
The Interlaken licence area has already been managed from 2007 until 2019, so there is already an existing brand awareness. A new licence partner can only benefit from this. Another location in Interlaken, which is very well-known among tourists, would further strengthen the Engel & Völkers cross-selling and supply system.
