The most interesting fact of the apartment is that the representatives of the dissident movement, led by Václav Havel, met here and the text of Charter 77 was written here.
The apartment underwent a complete costly reconstruction, which took care to preserve original architectural elements such as high ceilings, original reconditioned wooden parquet floors, coffered doors and mullioned windows.

These marvelous houses lie in the area that was declared as the protective historical zone in 2003. Střešovice is easily accessible both by public transport and by car. In 20-minutes walk you can reach the historic Prague’s city centre, and in about the same amount of time you can take the by tram to Malá Strana, and even less time to Hradčanská or Dejvická by metro A green line.
