Every little helps!
The MC Elbe made two appearances at Christmas markets in Hamburg during advent this year, and made use of both opportunities to raise funds for the E&V Charity: The teams at the “Nienstedtener Adventsbummel” and the “Rissener Adventsmarkt” placed information about the E&V Charity on display, talked to interested visitors about the primary school project in Togo, and sold popcorn in aid of the cause. Their fundraising efforts resulted in total donations of 315 euros.
“That might be just a small amount,” said Kerstin Heyng, Team Leader at the MC Elbe. “But if every E&V Shop collected a similar amount whenever it made a public appearance, a much larger sum would quickly be raised.”
