In August the entire second cohort of students at the“Ecole privée Engel & Völkers”, the primary school project of the E&V Charity, successfully completed their education. Special mention should go to Olgah Amivi Konu. Not only was she the best in her year, but the best student in the whole Agou district. Congratulations! What’s more, the four next-best students in the district all went to the E&V primary school too.
Like many of her classmates, Olgah has not had an easy life (as we reported). However, thanks to the former headteacher and his wife, who took Olgah into their home, she was given the chance to go to the school. “Olgah took full advantage of this opportunity and has made fantastic progress. I am enormously pleased for her. She is the perfect example of why this primary school project is so dear to our hearts. For these children it is a blessing that they are able to go to school ”, explains Ina Schlüter, Member of the board of the Engel & Völkers Charity e.V.
