Engel & Völkers Hotel Consulting was exhibitor at the 2017 International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) in Berlin and presented its first hotel market report on this leading international hospitality event.

Approximately 2.000 decision makers from more than 70 countries, thereunder investors, financiers, operators, and thourism experts are typically attending this hotel conference. The event offers geat networking, lectures and panels as well as evening programs. The so-called "Sentiment Report - Hotel Market Germany 2017" is an innovative analysis of the German hotel market that, besides market data reporting, includes a sentiment indicator for the most significant cities in Germany. This said, aside from the usual market data gathering, the report analyses the prospective price politics of market participants and applies a comparison the previous years. The report is planned to be furnished bi-annually and will further be integrated into the E&V consulting projects, delivering added value to the E&V clients. 

The newly founded Engel & Völkers Hotel Consulting GmbH applies a 360° consulting approach targeted primarily at owners, investors and operators of hotels. Services are divided into transaction and consulting. Consulting services include project strategic advisory, development advisory, and asset management services.
