Viliella: Location and surroundings of this property

The Cerdanya valley is surrounded by the Catalan Pyrenees with wonderful views of mountains like the Sierra del Cadi or Tosa d’Alp, amongst others, providing us an exceptional place to live or spend vacation periods all year round. Privileges include lots of sunny days during the year, mild temperatures in summer, postcard looks in spring and autumn and a winter surrounded by ski resorts.

Lles de Cerdanya is a municipality in the province of Lleida that belongs to the Cerdanya region and to which belong: Aransa, Lles, Musa, Traveseres and Viliella. Area attractions include Aransa Nordic Ski Resort, Cap del Rec Shelter, Llosa Valley and La Carabassa.

The urban center of Viliella is 1,563 m high, between Lles and Coborriu, above the slope formed by an ancient glacier, next to the Viliella stream (tributary, on the right, of the Llosa River). The Llosa valley has its head in the north, very close to Andorra, surrounded by magnificent mountains such as the Tosa Plana de Lles or the Carbassa and the walls of the Cadí, in the south. As monuments of cultural interest find the castle, or rock of Viliella that already existed in the thirteenth century and the church of San Sebastián de Viliella. The GR11 and GR10 / 107 or Route of the Cathars pass through the Llosa Valley. Also find small hiking trails such as the one that leads to Molí del Salt, where there is a waterfall and an old mill from the 18th century.
