The 8th district, on the right bank, bordered by the Seine, is the capital’s seat of power. It is home to the Elysée Palace, numerous embassies and company headquarters. But with its museums, high-end boutiques, palaces, and award-winning restaurants, it is also very popular with tourists.

Buying a flat in Paris’ Champs-Elysées neighbourhood

The Champs-Elysées neighbourhood, bordering the Seine, is located in the south of the 8th district. The neighbourhood, which is known for its luxury shops and embassies, is bordered to the north by the avenue of the same name.

A neighbourhood with an aura of exclusivity

The Avenue des Champs-Élysées nicknamed the “most beautiful avenue in the world” links the Place de la Concorde to the Arc De Triomphe. The Champs-Elysées is also the neighbourhood with the highest number of museums including the Grand and the Petit Palais.

What kind of properties can you buy in the Champs-Elysées neighbourhood?

If you are after an exceptional property in the Champs-Elysées neighbourhood, head for the golden triangle.  It is one of the most exclusive parts of the 8th district and is bordered by the avenue Montaigne, the avenue des Champs-Elysées and the avenue George-V. Buying a high-end property in Paris’ Faubourg-du-Roule neighbourhood

Faubourg-du-Roule, located to the west of the 8th district, is bordered by the avenue des Champs-Elysées, the avenue de Wagram and the boulevard de Courcelles. Faubourg-du-Roule is a popular destination for tourists, drawn in particular to the avenue des Champs Elysées and its many attractions in the south of the neighbourhood.

What kind of properties can you buy in the Faubourg-du-Roule neighbourhood?

Faubourg-du-Roule is more residential than other neighbourhoods in the 8th district which means it is possible to find, and buy, exclusive flats here. The properties for sale in Faubourg-du-Roule are very popular with both national and international purchasers and are never on the market for long. The same is true for larger properties which are very much in demand. Here you can find flats in exclusive buildings, like the Cité Mondaine, near place des Ternes.

Buying an exclusive property in Paris’ Europe neighbourhood

Europe is a diverse neighbourhood which attracts both young professionals and families and is bordered by parc Monceau and Gare Saint-Lazare train station.

Park and public transport: considerable assets in Paris

Europe, which is located in the north of the 8th district, has good public transport connections, including Gare Saint-Lazare train station, in the east of the neighbourhood. It is also home to parc Monceau, a lovely place for a stroll. Here you will find lots of statues of artists, old columns and even a children’s playground.

What kind of properties can you buy in Paris’ Europe neighbourhood?

Europe, a residential neighbourhood with a relatively young working population, features a more accessible range of high-end properties than other neighbourhoods in the 8th district. However, the areas around parc Monceau are more upmarket and expensive, particularly, boulevard de Courcelles. Here you can buy magnificent town houses, right in the heart of Paris, for example.
