This romantic, neo-Renaissance-style mansion, occupying a rural location that is nevertheless close to Budapest, has been erected around of the turn-of-the-century (1907). The exterior is reflective of the impeccable style of the castles built on the „Hungarian Highland” (today in Slovakian) in the late-Renaissance period. The interior however reflects the baroque life style and comfort. The ongoing refurbishment of the extraordinary mansion has started in 1997 and aims at preserving the architectural harmony of the past and incorporating the latest technology of the 21st century.
The four floors of the main house span some 3,256 m2, set within ground totaling approx. 6ha. The sleeping areas include king size suites, saloons, terraces. In the side wing, service apartments, offices, fitness room and a spa oasis are situated. The full size cellar comprises a wine cellar, storage rooms, technical rooms, etc. A stall is situated next to the main building that can accommodate 8 horses.
The interior features aristocratic elegance including the following cutting edge of high quality decor elements. Brecca sarda and Verde Guatemala marble coverings, handwoven and Sangiorgio silk wall carpet, mahogany panelling, Moscatelli and Mathieu light fixtures, Laufen, Axor Carlton and Hansgrohe bathroom fittings. The furniture and the net HUF 82 Mio worth 90 pieces Mihály Schérer collection belong to the property. Electricity is provided by a 50 kW solar generator while the heating and hot water is supplying by a 4x60 kW wood gasification boiler.
A solar-cell farm of 500 kW output is under settlement with the value of another HUF 265 Mio, which is wedded to the property.

The location of the mansion is logistically advantageous, just 60 km North-east from Budapest and within easy reach of the Budapest Airport (50 mins).
Featured attractions of this region are the Arboretum of Vácrátót, the Buják game reserve, and the area offers excellent hunting opportunities, 3 hunting associations operates in the 54.000 ha of land. The neighboring 88 ha lake offers undisturbed angling opportunities. Many untapped mineral springs can be found in the area.
