At the gates of the historic center of Nardò we find this stately building dating from the mid-nineteenth and early twentieth century; the compositional layout and decoration of the facade testify to a neoclassical style that is characterized by sobriety and linearity; the facade on the upper floor has three balconies equipped with an elegant balustrade with five doors overlooking the main street framed by stone reliefs that lead the building back to decorative elements typical of the neoclassical style.
The property is located on one of the most important streets in the city of Nardò, situated at an angle. The building has a main entrance and a side entrance, and is spread over two floors plus the terrace from which one can admire the bell towers and gables of the churches that emerge from the panorama of roofs and terraces of the nearby historic center.
Large rooms open up to the upper floor where there is access by a wide white marble staircase from the main door. The rooms on the residential floor are bright and cozy, the cementine floor becomes the protagonist embellishing the rooms with varied decorations. In addition, the presence of a light well and a small terrace give the house an atmosphere and openness to the outside while remaining completely intimate and private.
From the side entrance there is direct access to the residential area used as a service area. Here we find kitchen and additional services pertaining to the dwelling.
The part of the ground floor features a commercial room that is in use as a pharmacy for the area and a room used as a garage. The building is in excellent condition, with the last maintenance work dating back to 2011.

Nardò is a pretty town in the province of Lecce that lies in a flat position southwest of the provincial capital and includes a stretch of the Ionian coast of Salento. It has been an important Byzantine center for centuries, which increased the presence of Basilian monks and spread the Eastern rite and worship and to which we owe the spread of caves and crypts.

Thanks to its proximity to some of the most beautiful locations on the Ionian coast, it is the ideal destination in which to stay during vacations in Salento. The 22-kilometer coastal strip includes the seaside resorts of Santa Maria al Bagno, Santa Caterina and Sant'Isidoro and is home to the Porto Selvaggio and Palude del Capitano Regional Natural Park, an area of great historical-naturalistic interest whose rocky, jagged coastline is characterized by pine forests, Mediterranean scrub and wetlands. A perfect compromise to be able to enjoy the tranquility while still enjoying the liveliness of the coast.
