The Lamia is a typical Salento Masseria of imposing and rigorous architecture, whose origins are rooted in the 16th century. It is located in the province of Lecce, on the coast between San Cataldo and Frigole a stone's throw from the wonderful Cesine nature estate from which you can admire the beauty of the Adriatic Sea.
The Masseria Lamia is developed according to the classic patterns of that period: a wonderful arched atrium from which one enters an orderly and evocative garden. On the right side of the garden we can find the Bread Factory Court overlooked by large rooms with vaulted ceilings and arches of Romanesque and Byzantine architecture, since that in 1714 invasions by the Ottomans were very common. To the left of the garden is a beautiful plot of land of about 13 hectares that surrounds the entire property. The entire ground-floor of the Masseria has been renovated with the idea of using it for events: the right side of the main building has three large rooms with bathrooms and kitchens, on the left two large rooms for reception, all with star-shaped ceilings. On the Bread Factory Court are three other large rooms with services overlooking it. A very old staircase leads to the second floor where we find 3 rooms to be renovated that directly overlook onto two large terraces of about 600 sqm.
Lastly the terrace of about 120 sqm. From which you can admire the migratory flows for and from the Cesine. The Masseria has a beautiful plot of leccini olive trees that borders with a relaxing green pine forest. Masseria Lamia creates a current of emotions, tangible and unchanging, full of meaning and history.

Salento is in fact the easternmost portion of the Italian peninsula, and in particular the Adriatic coast, on which Masseria Lamia is located.
Salento and the City of Lecce are, by now, objectively recognized as one of the most important places from the historical point of view and also for it’s beautiful nature, so much so that they have jumped to the first places in the ranking of destinations.
It is possible to reach Salento in various ways: by car, using the network of Highway and Road, by train to the City Of Lecce and then by the Local Buses to the various destinations or by air using the Airport of
Brindisi, which is 35 kilometers from Lecce.
Lecce is definitely the heart of Salento: it is a City rich in history, works of art, monuments and churches, all strongly marked by the famous Lecce Baroque, a type of Architecture that developed between the late 16th and mid-18th centuries, recognizable by the garish decorations of the buildings whose purpose was to
stimulate the imagination and fantasy. Salento, however, is not only Lecce: in fact, the whole "heel of Italy" reserves for ist visitors intense emotions when they come to cities such as Otranto, famous for its
role during the presence of the Ottomans, or Gallipoli which, thanks to ist position on the Ionian Sea, has seen the succession of peoples and dominations.

Commission Details
The assignment of mediation to our agency and our real estate agents is conferred through the signing of a specific document or, failing that, through the use of the services listed in our brochure, in our real estate files and relative clauses.
