The property is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and woods typical of the Chianti area. In the immediate vicinity are the renowned Chianti cellars, the medieval villages of San Gimignano, Castellina in Chianti and Monteriggioni. Siena is about 30 minutes by car, Florence about 25 minutes, in fact the two cities are easily reachable via the Florence-Siena highway which is about 7 Km away. The Florence airport is about 30 minutes, that of Pisa about an hour and a quarter and that of Rome Fiumicino about 2 and a half hours.
